Why Work With Me?

I am a married mom of two sons with ADHD and received my ADHD diagnosis as an adult. My kids’ diagnoses and getting as educated about ADHD as I could enabled me to recognize that all those struggles I had, all the times I thought I was just stupid or couldn’t do what seemed to come so easily to everyone might actually be ADHD. My husband and I have taught our kids through our words and actions that they matter just as much as every other human, and that while their challenges are real, so are their gifts.

My sons’ diagnoses launched a lifetime of learning everything I can about ADHD, and eventually led me to coaching. Raising my sons and learning to understand my own journey with ADHD has inspired me to help others navigate their own inimitable path. I truly believe that each person is a unique gift to this world, and that is the foundation of my coaching approach.

I coach because I want to see you flourish. I want to live in a world that celebrates each person for who they are individually, and where each person has the opportunity to do what inspires them, live their truth, and pursue happiness in whatever form that takes for them uniquely. I want to empower you to embrace your challenges and gifts equally.

I devour research of all kinds and put it to use in my everyday practices that make a real difference in my family’s and clients’ lives. I channel my passion for research and my insatiable curiosity, love of learning, and belief in individuals into positive, life-changing results for my clients. I never stop seeking to know more, understand more deeply, and most of all to empower my family and clients to manage challenge and unleash the strengths we were born with.

My passion is to help you live your best life.

My Training and Qualifications

I’ve chosen to train extensively with top-notch coach training programs to provide me with the skills and ability to empower you to achieve your passion.

I have the following certifications:

  • Professional Certified Coach (PCC), ICF

  • Specialized ADHD coach training for families, parents, and kids

  • EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 Emotional Intelligence Assessment

  • Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths Coach

  • Energy Leadership Index ™ – Master Practitioner (ELI-MP)

  • Specialist in COR.E Life Coaching & Transitions Dynamics ™

  • Certified Professional Coach (CPC)

I believe it’s important to know where and how your coach was trained, what values guide their coaching, and to evaluate whether someone is a good fit as a coach for your specific needs and personality. And, because coaching isn’t a licensed profession like psychologists or occupational therapists, for example—coaches can choose to be bound by strict ethics rules and to get accredited training, or not—I am fully transparent in providing you with detailed information and verifiable certifications. So I’m providing a lot of detail below on every certification and training I claim. I want you to be completely confident that I have deeply invested in top-quality training programs and that I am properly equipped to work with the specialized populations. I want you to look around, talk to other coaches, check my training programs, and talk to me before committing to a coaching relationship. Particularly if you are seeking coaching as someone who identifies as an ADHDer, neurodivergent, or for your children who identify as such, please ask all of your questions and make sure whomever you trust to partner with you—even if it’s not me—has the training, knowledge, and is the right fit for you. It makes all the difference in your results.

As a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), I voluntarily pledge to abide by strict ethics, training, and behavior guidelines. It also means I stay up to date on the latest research on coaching, attending conferences and various continuing education events throughout the year. ICF issues credentials to coaches who choose to submit to their rigorous testing and validation processes. As a Professional Certified Coach through ICF, it means I’ve spent more than 500 hours coaching clients, graduated from the highest-level certified training courses, have been supervised for multiple hours by mentor coaches, and have passed a strict and comprehensive exam (most recently in July 2025) certifying my knowledge and situational application of the ethics and core competencies to which ICF members are held. According to ICF, as of March 2021, there were only 13,332 PCC-credentialed coaches worldwide.

I selected and graduated with my CPC from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC)—an ICF-accredited Level 2 training program. iPEC’s philosophy is that “there’s vast, unrealized potential inside every one of us. The key to awakening that potential is to access deeper self-awareness and higher levels of consciousness.” I wholeheartedly embrace that philosophy and it forms the basis of my coaching work.

I am an Energy Leadership Index™ – Master Practitioner (ELI-MP), which means I’m trained in how to debrief and use iPEC’s proprietary ELI Assessment. The ELI “is a research-backed assessment that provides insights into how you show up in various aspects of your life. The assessment measures your ability to lead yourself and others to take positive, productive, and sustainable action.” Learn more: iPEC’s website, or reach out to me.

I also earned my COR.E Life Coaching & Transitions Dynamics ™ Specialist Certification through iPEC, and that means I have extensive, specialized training to help you navigate all areas of life that you might want to optimize. That could be choosing and pursuing a new career, entering and adjusting to a new phase of life (think all phases of parenting, helping with aging parents, getting married, or becoming newly single, for example). Or perhaps it’s trying to figure out how to get “unstuck” in one or many aspects of your life. Whatever your challenges, my specialized training in transitions gives me a strong foundation, strategies, and frameworks to help empower you to take the next step.

In addition to my iPEC training, I have three other areas of specialized training:

The Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i 2.0) is the world’s leading measure of emotional intelligence, applying decades of research to support effective human performance and development. I administer, interpret, debrief, and coach the EQ-i 2.0/EQ 360 with employees, teams, leaders, and clients. The comprehensive and customizable EQ-i report is the foundation I use to develop tailored emotional intelligence programs, enable informed decisions about performance and future development. The fifteen competencies in the scientifically validated EQ-i 2.0 model are highly correlated with inspirational leadership, innovative work cultures, highly-effective teams, and engaged and committed talent. And the best news – these are learned skills that we can develop and improve! Learn more: EQ-i 2.0/360 or each out to me.

As a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths Coach, I can help you discover where your natural talents lie, and craft strategies for how to maximize your strengths in all aspects of your life. I am certified to help you deconstruct, internalize, and apply your CliftonStrengths™ assessment. We can target areas like professional and personal development, effective management, team dynamics, communication, conflict resolution, and becoming a better leader, parent, and human through channeling your strengths. I also can apply this certification to coaching teams, so we can discover and maximize what your team is naturally good at and increase their effectiveness as a unit. Finally, I am an ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA)-trained coach. I offer ADHD coaching to all people who are impacted by ADHD, and specialize in ADHD coaching for parents, kids, and families. ADDCA is an internationally recognized, ICF Level 2-accredited training program that “provides innovative, high-quality coach training and educational courses delivered by ICF and PAAC certified instructors using proprietary coaching skills and models.” I believe in training that is rigorous and grounded in the latest research, including in areas of neuroscience, executive function, and positive psychology. I am a passionate advocate for neurodiverse people, and am deeply committed to helping those with ADHD learn strategies to help them with their challenges and unleash their enormous potential.
